BroadPoint Consulting Services (CS) manages long-term skilled nursing care facilities. Like other employers in the U.S. healthcare industry, BroadPoint CS was struggling to recruit and retain skilled workers.
Changing workforce needs in the healthcare industry created a shift in benefit priorities for BroadPoint CS. With rising inflation and cost of living, financial stress is a real concern and getting paid right away helps those employees who are living paycheck to paycheck.
Without a tool to match the changing demands, BroadPoint CS was losing its employees to staffing agencies. “We realized we had to offer a comparable On-Demand Pay benefit to attract and retain our workforce–it was table stakes for us,” Marcie Hill, Director of Human Resources at BroadPoint Consulting Services.
Zero administrative burden and mandatory fees with Clair
BroadPoint CS learned about Clair, an On-Demand Pay solution through its time & attendance platform, Attendance on Demand (AoD). “As we were looking for new HCM platforms, On-Demand Pay was an important feature for us. We wouldn’t go with a HCM platform that didn’t offer it,” shared Marcie. During the evaluation process, the AoD sales team highlighted how Clair is integrated on the AoD platform. Marcie immediately saw Clair was better than their previous On-Demand Pay provider because it required zero HR administrative effort.
Once BroadPoint CS became a client of AoD, they turned on Clair and offered it to their employees at no cost to BroadPoint CS and with no mandatory fees for employees.
Clair helps improve retention & recruitment
With 20% of their workforce enrolled in Clair, BroadPoint CS is already seeing a positive impact on employee recruitment and retention.
“Clair has really made a difference and helped us move the needle on recruitment and retention. For example, we recently hired an employee away from a staffing agency solely because he wanted the Clair On-Demand Pay benefit,” shared Marcie.
